We completely re-architected their backend using microservices and rebuilt the frontend with Next.js for blazing fast load times and improved SEO.
To ensure a seamless transition without disrupting ongoing sales, we adopted a strangler fig pattern. We incrementally replaced specific functionalities—starting with the product catalog and checkout flow—before retiring the old monolithic system.
